I have a lot of questions that I just don't know what to do. I have tried many of things and no luck and with no manual its not easy for dummies of SIP. This is the first program that has worked great with my Vonage and I want it to work in what I need for my business.

I would like the incoming line to give a message of three choices. One to extension one, two to two and three to three. Should be easy for some one that knows what they are doing.

Then with extension one to have a choice of choosing two choices.

One extension to leave a message and extension two to try a transfer to two different land lines. If no answers transfer to another extension to be able to leave a message.

Can this be done and if so would like some ideas on how. I have had no luck starting at problem one.

Thanks anyone for help or ideas.

Yes can be done, you have to setup this using the digital receiptionist. and system recordings,

first make all your voice recordings under system recording and give them a name.

Than go to digital receiptionist to setup the different menu's. Start with the last menu.

Example main menu is selection between 1 2 3
sub menu 1 is 2 selctions. 1 for voicemail, 2 to tranfer to pstn line (pstn line is a pstn extension in your extensions or use a ring group and have 2 pstn extensions ring on the ring group. In this case your voip provider must support calling 2 lines at the same time)
Give this meny the name submenu1 do this also for subment 2 and 3

Than setup main menu. You will now see that you have the option when you press 1 that you can select submenu 1 under digital receiptionist and the same for 2 and 3.
This way you make different menu's and you can press one key to active the next menu but also you could say press 9 in submenu2 to go back to the main menu.

The only thing I don't know is when there is no answer on the pstn line to tranfer the call back to the menu to leave a message.

The above should help you at least to setup a menu structure.

Thank you so much, I am going to start on this tonight. I do have one more, well I am sure by the time I get this done there will be more. But lets start.
When I make the first message saying:
press 1 to leave a message for XXX, 2 for xxxx, 3 for xxx.
Does this sound right. They would just have to press a number no # or *.
I did this once using the web site they mention to create wav file, I up loaded them but got nothing. I am going to try to record my own and up load it.
I don't like using my own voice, would you know any other way?

Getting excited about getting this started. It is going to be great for my new business. I hope I can do this myself.

OK, doing good! Thank You;-)
This is where I am at, because I am having a little problem. I know you told me how to do it, but I got lost.
Right now I have Press 1 for XXX, Press 2 to try being transfered ( it works great, it tries one number, then the other, then the last land line numbers), Press 3 for Dan.
This is where I want a sub menu. Like:
1 to leave a message.
2 to try his cell phone.

I just cant figure where to put this sub menu and make it work. Could someone please help me.
Thanks

submenu

You have to make a new menu in the digital receptionist.

Call this submenu3 (as for press 3 for dan)

You want to record the voice message for this menu first.

Than setup the menu, select 2 for number of options for the menu. Select you options, leave voicemail or call pstn number (cell phone) setup the cellphopne as a pstn extension under extensions, give it an internal number and you can select transfer to that extension in the menu.

Save This menu.

Go back to your main menu (one you created).
Now under 3 you select digital receptionist and select submenu3.

This way when in the main menu someone presses 3, submenu3 telling them the 2 options will be activated.

good luck.
