Have you configured the device before with another provider, or is this the first time you will be doing so.
is the first time that i configure the voip number for pbx
Is the device behind a router?
no
i use the messangenet service
Can you access its' web interface?
yes i can access to the control pannel
Start by creating an extension with a unique number. Note the "dial" and "password" fields, since you will use them in the PAP2 configuration.
Open the configuration page of the PAP2 and in the Line tab fill out the "Proxy" field with "pbxes.org", the "User ID" with the the contents of the "dial" field without the "SIP/" part and the "Password" field with the "password" of the extension.
Then go to the Status page of your PBXes account and verify if the extension registers properly.

I have similar problem. I added the sip trunk for voicestick.com. Added two extensions and all of them show as green in the status page. I can call regular phones from my pap2 using pbxes and can call the pap2 from a regular phone. I cannot dial the extension by dialing the extension number.
What dial plan should i have in my pap2 configuration to be able to call one extension from another. I could not perform *43 to do a echo test or *65 to get the extension.
Thank you , it registered and can make outgoing calls but incoming calls go to Voicemail and I have checked in the inccoming route I dont have VM picked as destination. Any ideas.
It would be easier for us to help you if you could describe your setup in a bit more detail. ie. There is an inbound route which directs the trunk with a DID, to this extension which doesn't have its' VM activated.
• Where is your default route (Incoming Calls) set to go?
• Which trunk provider are you using for the DID?
