Conference call initiated from callthru Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi,

Is it possible to initiate a conference call from callthru? So perhaps something like dial-in to callthru-> connect the first line->put first line on hold->dial second line->conference the two lines

Thanks a lot.

Yes, that's possible now. We have been working on callback and callthru lately to make it as easy as possible and this is the recipe:

  • Dial first party.
  • Blind transfer to conference room of ext. 200 by pressing "*2 8200"
  • You get another dialtone. Dial second party.
  • Conference by pressing "*2 8200"
  • New dialtone. Now dial 8200 to join the conference yourself.

To adopt the PBX update please click the red bar once.
