I've got a trunk to telefoon.In (www.yawadoo.be)
When i use that trunk for a sip-out call or to call someone on that voip-network.... i can exactly be called for *20 minutes* on my sipnumber on that network...
while the status screen shows "yawadoo" greenish : registered?
what type of time out exists on those networks? can it be configured in trunks to do some activity tests or reinvites or reregisters?
it's not that i can be reached for 20 minutes every hour...
I have to call first and then I'll be able to be called for 20 minutes...
strange... don't know if other providers have also these strange timeout stuff?
They don't come with their own "sip client" so I guess they don't use some specific alternation of sip?
Your provider telefoon.in must have a problem with the SIP protocol when it requires you to set a registration interval of less the 20 minutes. PBXes does not allow to manually define this. So please address this request to your provider.
I've been checking connectivity and I notice my "softphone" sends every 20seconds an Sip OPTIONS and every minute or so I get even an OPTIONS back from their "brakeke sip server".... I guess your system only sends a "register" every hour or so?
And you just disregard any incoming "Sip Options" it may be sending each minute to see if the connection is still alive?
