After my PBX oddities of a few weeks ago some things just never came back to working notrmally. Specifically one Trunk with a DID that I use frequently.
Pascal had tried to look at this oddity with me and it does appear that he is right that the call is being cancelled. What seems to be the issue is WHY the call is being cancelled!
I had changed a trunk to an invalid domain by placing XXX in the middle of the domain. I have done this before to tremporarily disable one and it has always worked, while I connected that account to a softphpone for testing (for about a week) .
I believe that now that this trunk has been COMPLETELY removed from the PBX calls are still coming into the PBX as if it were registered!
I demonstrate this with the following from a call log
2006-09-12 13:36:01 anonymous 3 5559852260 ext-group 0 sec
This clearly demonstrated that the calls are still coming to the PBX as oif the PBX was registered, although it should not have been registered for about 1 week now! The trunk name is unmistakable.
Perhaps the originating provider is cancelling the call when it determines that the account is registered to from the softphone and the PBX?
My PBX call logs however still show my calls as coming in from that trunkl!
I want to also add that my SIPPhpone trunk stopped working , and can not now get inbounds from SIPPhone
SIPPhone trunk shows registered, however every time I get either SIPPhone voice mail or SIPPhone recording "unavailabe" . I have tried at least 2 different sipphone accounts.
(here is another oddity . Board says I am not logged in but allows me to post with my username, go figure)
