Opened letter...Good job, but frustrating in the same time Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Dear PBXes,
I use your services and I thank you a lot offering this type of services, for free (under certain circumstances). I understand very well also that each bussiness has to survive and need some income, But I am feeling some frustration from your bussiness model. I don't want to learn you how to make bussinees, but only to offer a feedback that sometimes companies are very interested in.

Some months ago I opened a free account. 2 months ago, during a call something happened and the call didn't end when the cellphone ended the calls. I want to say that the cell ended the call, I rebboted even the cell phone. But the call on pbx continued for no ideea what reason. So, the minute limit for free account was overpassed without my explicit fault. I don't want in no way to say that it is a fault in pbx! Seeing that the account was blocked, I opened another account. After arround a month that new account was blocked, without saying an exact reason (only the generic reason... one of the 3 conditions). I supposed that it was because of the old account. ( But I preferred to have the exact reason and the name of the old account to know what to do).
So on June 13th (3 week ago) I paid for a month for Soho (with the aditional 10% for monthly subscription). Of course, it was a subscription re-newable on a monthly basis through PayPal. After 2 weeks I canceled THE RE-NEWAL on PayPal (I could't cancel it on re-newal date because I will have no internet access at that date). Not the subscription! Actually I have no choice between them on Paypal, but I wanna say that because I paid for a full month I expected to have services for that month, am I asking something strange? But starting from yesterday (Jully 8th) my service was blocked again.
May I ask you:
1) Do you find honest (and legal) to have a service for a complete month stated that I paid for it? Or is too exagerated?
2) Do you find exagerated to send the exact rule that was infringed that blocked the account?
3) I paid a second month now to try to find a solution for my account. I tried to logon on the old account to be sure that it is not because of it. Of course, I expected to pay another SOHO month for the old account to be able to access it to delete the infos from the trunks and so. But now the pbx told me that the old account does not exists anymore!!! So it seems that my new account is blocked by an non-existing account!
3) I feel a bit frustrated also that it is no possibility to contact someone but buying 15 euros support ticket...

You are the only company that I know that offer that service (pbx, with these features) for free, but also the only one that cut the possiblities to contact you for a problem without paying for it...

I don't want to offens you, but your model seems to be an invitation into a trap.
So I was victim of a technical error because a call didn't end correctly (again, no intention to say that it was the pbx problem). My account is blocked because of an non-existing account...
I reffered you at so many friends that now I am seriously thinking at my image in their eyes when they will start to have similar problems...

I have no ideea if someone from PBXes will look at this, but for a new SOHO month that I paid I thought that I can share my impressions... A forum where you have to pay to post your impressions or problems...

Keep on going PBX, but you can get a lot more satisfied clients with so less effort more... But unfortunatelly seems that it is not a problem of effort, but you want to do the things like this...

Thanks for your feedback.

You will find other discussions in the forum on the same subject. Once you created a second account, you aren't eligible for a free account any more.

Thank you for your reply. I found thath you can't have a second free, but does this means that even if the first was deleted the second one can't be used? So I am banned forever, an eternal punishment because I was a victim of a technical failure?
I can't neither delete the new account to re-activate the first one, because the first one was deleted! So should I take pbxes out of my mind? No possibility to have one and only one free acount?
Thanks again

After deletion of your second account, you can start as a new user. We don't keep any records of deleted users.

Do you still remember the name of your first account?

Thanks again for your answer, are you trying to say that if I completely delete this new account, I will be able to create a 3rd one for free that I will be able to keep without being blocked for the "duplicate" reason in the future (because ot the 2 deleted accounts)?
If it works like this, I admit that I paid 2 x 3.25 euro to learn something... But at least to be sure that will be like this. If I will be blocked again for the same reason and I will have to pay another month only to find an answer...

How in this case you explain the following:
- I deleted the first account and keep the current
- AFTER THAT I canceled the re-newal of SOHO on the new account
- AFTER THAT my new account was blocked again. For what reason? Did the new account was permanently flagged as "duplicated"? It wasn't reset (the flag) when I deleted the old account? So the "duplicate" condition was not re-evaluated before blocking it a second time?

Thanks for your support
