Hi,
This might sound confusing, so let me try to explain... I'm trying to have a specific phone number use a specific outbound route when I dial it, but I want other numbers that begin with that area code, to go over a different (cheaper) route.
So I have in the "numbers starting by" of outbound routing.
Route 1: -
0044161xxxxxxx
0161xxxxxxx
08
route 2:-
00
01
02
and a few others.
Now, it seems to ignore the fact that I've put the entire phone number in route 1 for some reason and it tries to go out over route 2, due to the 00 match. If I remove 00 from route 2, I get no route and it hits my VM.
If it helps, the number (0044161xxx) is set up as a classical extension, which my phones divert to during the day.
I know I can just put 00 in route 1 but I want to use route 2 for those except this specific number. I don't want it going out over route 2 as this is the trunk it comes in on. For some reason, voipcheap don't like this. When I try it, I get a US style ring tone, then it hangsup after 12 seconds and they even charge me for the ringing.
So. Is there a maximum amount of characters I can have in the "numbers starting by" box?
Hope that makes some sort of sense...
Thanks
