When Digital Receptionist is used Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

I can not set proper ring when digital receptionist is used. I can not hear the ringing when caller press #1 or #2.

Caller can not hear the ringing after choosing their menu in the digital receptionist area. They only hear few second of empty audio and as soon as the other party picks up the phone, the conversation starts right away.

This does not happen with the direct connection in inbound setting to the single extension.

My setting is
callwith.com -> inbound calls -> digital receiptionist (either #1 or #2) -> No 1 for Japanese group (one is pbxes sip ext 122, one is landline number) -> #2 for English and it calls classic extension to landline number.

Any help is appriciated.

Please re-save your voice menu and try again. We changed the software.

It works now. Thank you.

The other thing is that it would be nice if we can set ring type cause I use this for Japanese support and they would feel strange to hear aboard ring sound.
(I might be able to do it somewhere on the system, if so can you let me know?)

Tones may be customized in Source View. You could also use a queue to play music instead of the ringback tone.
