Strange entry in system logs Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi

I was looking through the system logs when I cam across this event.

Aug 16 17:01:22 NOTICE[783] rtp.c: Comfort noise support incomplete in Asterisk (RFC 3389). Please turn off on client if possible. Client IP: xx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Can someone explain what this means and if I need to do anything on our end. The trunk is working fine as far as we can tell.

Hi,
I get exactly the same, don't seem to have any problems though.
