Thread: RE: Conference call initiated from callthru |

Hi,
Is it possible to initiate a conference call from callthru? So perhaps something like dial-in to callthru-> connect the first line->put first line on hold->dial second line->conference the two lines
Thanks a lot.

I'm having problems with voicestick registration on the San Diego server as well. May be something on the config side of it on the San Diego server?

Thread: RE: Call-thru not working at American site? |
|
Hi,
I switched to the American site and during the weekend calls were not coming to me, and call-thru was not working. I switched back to the German site and it's okay.
Today I tried the American site again and call-thru is still not working. I can hear the ringtone once, the system picked up but then no prompt nor dial-tone follow. In call monitor I cannot see the call being logged at all.
Thanks a lot.

Oops, I was too excited about the American site. :p I'll have more patience next time.
I am very happy to report that it is now working perfectly. Thanks a lot!

Dubaistu: I just use i2telecom.com as my sip server as Pascal added the correct redirection in the hosts file. Your username is 1+your 10-digit phone number (i.e. 1NXXNXXXXXXX).
Pascal: Does this hosts mod work on the new North American server? My voicestick and hk2b trunks both are not working after moving to the new server.
For your reference, in /etc/hosts:
206.165.50.116 i2telecom.com
203.80.89.135 s2hkbntel.net s21.hkbntel.net
Thanks a lot!

Hi Pascal,
It seems voicestick need the same kind of modification to your hosts file for it to work:
206.165.50.116 i2telecom.com
I've searched the forum for either voicestick or i2telecom, but didn't come up with anything.
Thanks a lot.

I am also interested in passing callerID using primarily US/Canadian providers.
Thanks.

Hi,
I am just wondering if it is possible to set up a callthru for a specific trunk and CID so that no PIN is required to access the function? With the specific CID set (e.g. my mobile) I would not need to key in the PIN every time.
Thanks a lot.

Thread: RE: Inbound routing by trunk name |

Hi,
For inbound routing by trunk name, is the "expected" trunk name the one set up by myself when defining trunks, or is it the one provided by the incoming SIP call?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Pascal,
My bad for opening a new thread, so I will continue on here.
Using the server numerically would not work as they check for domain/realm. Using "xxxxxxxx@203.80.89.135" would yield a "403 Registrations to foreigndomains are forbidden" error.
Please kindly check the server log to confirm that this is happening on pbxes.com as well. Thanks a lot.

Thread: RE: HKBN 2b tweak |
|
Hi,
A very new user here and a newbie in IP-PBX.
So far I've got pbxes working as it's designed. However, I can't get the trunk for HKBN's 2b service to work. From other forums, I've known that they require at least one specific tweak on the asterisk system.
Quote from http://voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page...ettings+HKBN+2b :
Zitat: |
/etc/hosts
203.80.89.135 s2hkbntel.net s21.hkbntel.net
You need the above entry in your /etc/hosts since HKBN has not created a DNS domain by the name of s2hkbntel.net. As a result, you need to have this entry in order for Asterisk to figure out which host to send your calls to and from which host calls should be accepted. |

Please kindly let me know if this provider can be supported or not. Thanks a lot!
