Hello Pascal,
All seems to be working OK now, the issues I described lasted a little bit less than a day.
Thanks,

Thread: RE: System anomaly |

Since this morning I am having problems with my account.
It was registered on www3. I received a message from pbxes explaining that that server was down.
Now it is back up but nothing seems to work. By switching to www4, I was able to regain some info in my account online, but I am still unable to use any feature.
When making incoming calls of any kind from my mobile I get the message that "the person at extension 200 is on the phone", but I do not have extension 200 on my account!
Is anyone else having any issue with the system? I have never seen this kind of problem before...
Thank you,
Pasquale

Thread: RE: Pbxes not working today |

From status page I see:
Host Status Last Check Duration Status Information
www3.pbxes.com
DOWN 04-23-2011 16:19:33 0d 15h 4m 2s PING CRITICAL - Packet loss = 100%
So, it has been down over 15 hours...

Thread: Support for Google Voice Widget |
|
Unless I am missing something, when using the google voice widget with PBXes (google voice account registered with PBXes) I get a busy signal.
Was anybody successful in using this feature with PBXes?
If not, what are the technical issues that won't allow to use it?
Thank you!
Pasquale

FOR THE RECORD
I am not seeing any spamming for my account.
Have you considered creating a google voice account just for PBXes?

Thread: RE: billing question |

Had the same problem with PBXes and Paypal. Paypal will not give any refund.
The problem is that if you cancel a subscription that is paid for the next six months, you lose everything.
Paypal cancels all your subscriptions even if you just remove an expired card before adding a new one to their file, so be careful!

Thread: RE: MagicJack with PBXes.org |

Make sure you append the port number 5070 to the proxy you use.
For example, in the "SIP server" box:
proxy1.yourcityname.talk4free.com:5070
yourcityname = the city server you use.
How did you obtain the credentials? They used to work on pbxes for me, but no longer...

Thread: RE: cancell G.729 sub. |

Here is a way to cancel a subscription:
1. Go to Account -> History
2. Search for a time-range ample enough to include the date of last charge for "i-p-tel GmbH"
3. Click on "Detail" for that transaction: payment status should be marked as "Active"
4. Finally, Click "Cancel Subscription"
Pascal,
Have you considered adding another method of payment? I had a problem with subscriptions because Paypal system cancels a subscription if you change a credit card number that is the primary source for payments. As a consequence I ended up paying for 2 months of PBXes, since they would not give me a refund for the months lost (and after admitting their system glitch!)
Paypal is a very unfriendly company, and their site is really horrible.

Thread: RE: Block announcement for Gizmo Project |

Hi Pascal,
I understand that you must protect your intellectual property and have my sympathy. But please understand that blocking gizmo5 will penalize lots of people.
Do we need to worry about other providers and be prepared to stop using them on pbxes?
Thanks,
Pasquale

Thread: RE: how to pass *123 to callcentric |
|
I used to have a problem with a similar dial pattern. My solution resided in my adapter (at the time a pap2) and solved it by adding a rule into the pap2 dialplan.
If you don't wish to alter your adapter dialplan (assuming you use an adapter) you may want to consider adding an extension to your pbx account.
First add towards the top of your outbound routing rule *123 within " Custom Dial Patterns" and choose callcentric as the sole provider in the trunk sequence.
Then add a classic extension, I assigned it the extension number '123'; in the pstn_number I added '*123'.
I am sure there are simpler solutions, this one worked for me.
Good Luck

Thread: RE: upload voicemail message |

This addition could be a good improvement, since some people edit their messages before using them for voicemail.

Thread: RE: Way more than fall-over to mobile phone |

Your doc, related to *92, explains that
"the "Follow Me" number can easily be edited over the Web (no need for dialing *92 for changes any more). "
But I do not see an option to edit the "Follow Me" number under that extension. Where on the web can you edit this number?
Thank you.

I use NYC server and until recently my calls were registered in Eastern Time zone.
Now, when I check in "Call Monitor," the time stamp is set to Central European time (+6.)
I believe this problem started to show up when PBXes changed the "Incoming Route" rules (a great improvement, by the way) and does not seem to go away.
Is there any way to get my calls registered with North America Eastern Time stamp as it used to be?
Thanks,
Pasquale

Diafora, The Status Panel now seems to work fine. The version of flash on my mac is 9.0.124.0. I do not use Camino, but had the same problem with Firefox, Safari and Opera. Again the Status Panel now seems to be working fine.
Thanks,
Pasquale

Pascal, My status panel works on Windows machines with Explorer and on my Linux with FIrefox.
On my mac everything still flashes in red...both with Firefox and Safari.
