If only I could have seen that information on a dashboard.

I have now paid through my main Paypal account and hopefully that has put my account back in order.

Many thanks for your very prompt help.

Andy

No I did not receive any alerts from Paypal. I am aware of 2 PayPal accounts that I have and neither has notified me. Can you advise which account you believe you were receiving money from?

Please also advise what dates the money has been drawn, what reference I should see and the exact amount in UK Pounds of the last amoutn Since I have received no receipts or invoices from you I cannot track prior payments.

My PBXES account currently still seems to be working and I need it to remain working. Please can you ensure it is not switched off until we have resolved this?

I don't understand how I should set up the payments again. Please can you advise further. I am happy to do this immediately in order to keep the account open.

"Your premium account sipero was cancelled" 23.03.2013 18:29 Forum: Miscellaneous

I have just received an email with the above very worrying subject line and the following body text

"This can have the following reasons:

* You requested cancellation of a subscription.
* You failed to make a payment.
* You removed your credit card from PayPal account.

There is a grace period of 24 hours (14 days for PBXes PRO)
from now for renewing the subscription.
Please read the FAQ in our DOCS for further information.

Best regards,
i-p-tel"

After first thinking it was a phishing scam I think I should take it seriously. So, assuming it is genuine, I would welcome some feedback from the account management people.

By way of background, I
a) did not request cancellation
b) don't make manual payments so can't have failed to make a payment
c) don't believe I pay by Paypal

In fact, I have never received a statement or an invoice from Pbxes and there is no section on my dashboard where I can see this information. So I am unable to establish why I received this email, what remedial action I should take and how I can take it.

Please let me know what I should do to maintain my account since we have the funds, the desire for the account to continue and most certainly do not want the enormous disruption that would come with a cancellation of the account.

Many thanks.

RE: Invoicing ? 23.03.2013 18:14 Forum: Miscellaneous

In the UK it is a legal requirement to provide VAT invoices if charging VAT. Interesting that possibly it is not in your country.

Your mentions about local VAT do not resonate with the agreements between European countries. Each country has an agreement to reconcile their cross border VAT so all VAT charged from a supplier in one country to a supplier in another must be declared. And this can only be done if suppliers fulfil their legal obligation to provide invoices and receipts.

Please can you add my account to the list of accounts to which you send an email invoice?

Most online services I know have a section of the dashboard where one can simply download the latest invoices. I do not need them emailed to me. I do however need them as a legal requirement for my accounts for Her Majestys' Customs and Excise and for the UK's Companies House. Had PBXES.com considered automatically loading customer invoices into a section of the customer's dashboard?

Yes, i would like to know the same thing too.
I have just received an email saying my account is being cancelled and one of the reasons is non-payment of an invoice. But I assume all have been paid.

No service? 12.06.2011 19:03 Forum: Miscellaneous

Since last Friday none of my extensions can register - all showing orange lights on my SIP phone.

Everything was fine till we received all the emails on Thursday and Friday saying there were trunk outages for all our trunks. Now we can't make or receive calls and I have not done anything to our settings or router.

I have waited patiently but the service has not been restored for 48 hours.

Any ideas what is going on?

Edited 13/6/11:
Thanks for all your help everyone. Not.

Fortunately, in my desperation, I decided to try to change the timezone:datacenter in personal settings to see if this fixed the problem. I am now on Johannesberg time and www3 but service has returned.

Am I the only one that thinks that charging for even the most basic support is very poor customer service. Do I really have to pay E15 just to get someone at PBXes to fix something they broke? Is there any form of inclusive email support? I am, after all, a paying subscriber.

Diafora,

You make a good point about any potential issue not being report widely on the forums. Maybe I am blaming PBXes unfairly!

I have shortened the 'subscribe retry interval' on the Linksys to 30 seconds (before it was 180).

When you ask which server are they attempting to re-register, do you mean the Pbxes server - the 'timecentre/datacenre' as quoted in the Personal Data section of the dashboard? If so, I have set that to www4.

Sorry, I don't know where to find the FQDN and am ignorant as to what it is.

I am not on a fixed IP, it is a dynamic one, if I am answering your question correctly!

To be fair, in the last week or so I have not had so many problems.

I have a suspicion it could be the upstream bandwidth or contention. Can't say exactly why, just a hunch. I had problems SENDING emails (very slow to send, sometimes timed out) on time that coincided with orange lights on the handset.

Cheers

Andy

PS Should we transfer this to another thread since the heading is currenly related to the Voicemail issue, which you so kindly helped me with.

Baz,

Fantastic - thanks for that. I had totally forgotten that one has to log in separately for vms. Would make sense for PBXes to make the instructions for users easier to find!

Worked a treat.

Many thanks

Andy

PS You don't have any tips on how to stop extensions from constantly de-registering? Seems like pbxes is undergoing a bit of overload in recent weeks - orange lights on my Linksys SPA942 ever few hours these days.

Can't delete a voicemail 14.04.2011 10:53 Forum: Miscellaneous

I have received a voicemail that seemed about 40 seconds long as wav when it was emailed to me. But, when I opened it, it Windows Media Player gave an error.

When I listen to the message on my SIP phone, there appears to be nothing there when I select to listen to that message. However, every time I dial into the voicemail for that mailbox, it says there is 1 message. The message waiting light is still illuminated on my SPA942.

I am sure I remember a way of going into the PBXes interface and seeing a list online of the voicemails. When I had this problem about a year ago, I went into that list and deleted the voicemail. Problem solved. But I can't do that now from what I can see.

I cannot find such an option on the dashboard any longer. to view voicemails Is there an option somewhere in the PBXes dashboard where I can see the waiting voicemails?

Does anyone know how to delete a voicemail on PBXes if I cannot do it from the IP handsets?

Thanks in advance

Andy
