Help with setting up scheme Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

I have a premium account at PBXes and I want to get the most out of it but I need help. I have an idea of what I want to accomplish and I want to pay i-p-tel help me to do it, but I don't know the best way to do this. I think it is more involved than a normal support issue. My proposed scheme involves acquiring some US DIDs but am not sure what exactly I need, so I need advice as well as configuration help.

Most of my family and friends are in the US and Germany, but I am in Moscow Russia. Here is my ideal scheme:

Can somebody help?

Thanks!

Sure, follow the support link, provide the excellent drawing along with any pertinent details, and someone will follow up with you.

Looks simple to setup

Setup a sipgate trunk
Setup an extension and have the SPA register on pbxes on that extension
Setup us did1

Have sipgate and us did1 ring on your SPA extension

USdid2 needs to forward to your russian mobile. Maybe your USdid2 provider can do this if not you have to setup did2 as a trunk.
Register another trunk for outgoing calls to your russian mobile. This can be sipgate is you pay for the account or any other sip provider.
Setup a trunk for outgoing calls.
Make a pstn extension and have that pstn extension call your russian mobile through sipgate (or other provider.
Than setup the incoming us did2 number to ring on the pstn extension.
This way incoming calls in usdid2 will ring on your russion mobile.

But what you can also do is also have usdid 2 trunk ring on your home extension. This way when you are home you can pickup the phone there and have no cost for calling to your mobile.
You can also do the same for sipgate incoming and usdid1 incoming. Have them ring on your russian mobile extension. This way when not at home they will ring on your mobile.
