After the last outage all my trunks are unregistered or are registered but it is not working fine.. I don´t know why . I did not any changes and nothing is working. I can`t receive any inbound calls. I would like to know if all servers are working with 100% of functions after the last breakdown. Since I´m having problems with all my inbound calls.

Well, I had an issue all weekend with one of my accounts on the NY (www4) server. All my SIP UAs refused to register as extensions to this account on the NY server, whereas they were registering properly with accounts hosted on other servers (www3, www1, www5, www2)

On one of my UAs (Snom 360) the extension of the main account stayed unregistered, whereas the extension of a test account didn't have any issues. I was also able to access my PBXes account with a browser, so there was no connectivity issue.

It finally dawned on me to click on Submit & Start this morning and within 3 minutes all the extensions registered on the problematic account.

Try and let me know if it helped. We will then speculate on what might have gone wrong.

I did. And nothing.

When I choose time Zone/DataCenter America_Sao Paulo (www4NewYork), all my inbound calls does not work fine.

When I choose other timezone/datacenter everything is fine. But I want to use time Zone/DataCenter America_Sao Paulo (www4NewYork),

I have the same problem. All my SIPs are pbxes.org too.

Repeating the information :

When I choose time Zone/DataCenter America_Sao Paulo (www4NewYork), all my inbound calls does not work fine.

When I choose other timezone/datacenter, www2 9San Diego), for example, everything is fine.

But I want to use time Zone/DataCenter America_Sao Paulo (www4NewYork), cause I want to see my call monitor with the Brazilian time.

Here is a quick test for both of you. Change one SIP UA to register directly to the native server your account is on. Then change an inbound route to send all calls to that extension.

In your case tijuca change from pbxes.org to www4.pbxes[.]com Please omit the square brackets [] around the dot.

Please report if your issue is resolved, and repeat this for all your SIP UAs.

I really thank you for your help.

I did the changes, but it does not fine. I think that the problem is not my SIP UA. Some providers registered and others no. I can fix it, just to use other timezone/datacenter, www2 9San Diego), for example, everything is fine. But I need to use the brazilian time zone. When I use it, I have the problem, when I use other time zone, I don't have problem.

I believe your account is stuck on the www2 server and it is not being properly moved to the www4 server. That is why it only works properly from the www2 server.

This has nothing to do with time-zones, it is a server specific issue. If the desired location of your account is the www4 server, then your account has to be properly moved there.

I have not done anything. But it is started working again by it self. Now everything is fine, I´m using the brazilian server. I´m happy besides the situation. I thank you all.

I am glad it's working for you, but I should point out there is no server in Brazil. The www4 server is in NY.

Dear Diafora.

I do know that there is not server in Brazil. But when I choose the Time Zone, I choose the brazilian time zone. It is together with www4 server. I don`t know how can I choose the time zone without this server. If I could choose, I will choose the brazilian time zone with other server, but I think that is not possible. Am I rigth ? Thank you again.

In order to judge from which server your account would be best served you should ping both the www2 and www4 servers. Usually New York is closer to Brazil than San Diego is, and it seems to be the case for you too.

As you can see from the traceroutes the NY server is closer to these two IPs than the San Diego server is. So unless there exists some other reason, the best server for your account, from a distance perspective is the NY server.

I don`t know how can I choose the time zone with other server than www4. If I could choose, I will choose the brazilian time zone with other server, but I think that is not possible. Am I rigth ?

Hey Tony,

Everything is possible, but there can only be one server assigned to one city/time-zone. So if you get all the Brazilian PBXes users to agree to assign the Sao Paulo/time-zone to another server, which might be further from Brazil, we will consider it.

What server would you be using from Brazil and why?
