outbound routing from classic extensions Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi,
I am trying to refine out of hours forwarding to a mobile. I created a classic extension with the mobile number and routed out of hours calls to that extension. This works just fine with my default (last in the list catchall) outbound route.
However when I try to select a different outbound route for this service (based on the classic extension number) this is ignored and the default (last in the list catchall) outbound route is always used.
Am I overlooking something , my outbound routes select just fine from the sip UAs but not the classic extensions.
Regards

The "extension" field in outbound routing is for the originating extension. You are looking for destination extension. So your rule needs the mobile number in the "custom dial patterns" field.
