Hi,
No problems, just an easy question I hope.
All my PBXes extensions re register around 03:05 every morning, regular as clockwork. This doesn't affect me as I'm still happily asleep, so I've never even thought about it until now.
But as a matter of interest does either the PBX or maybe BT do something at this time each morning ?
Regards
Ron

Hey Ron,

Are all the extensions using your PBXes account on a LAN, sharing the same Internet connection?

If they are, verify in your router log whether your broadband connection gets reset on a daily basis, at the above mentioned time.

Hi,
Yes they are all on the same LAN. I left the router logging over the weekend so I will look through that.
I read on another forum that BT may do various things to your adsl line in the early hours, I just wondered if there is any truth to that.
Regards
Ron

Hi,
Cannot see anything suspicious in the router logs, how odd !
Ron

Update:
Noticed in the PBX system log that all the trunks also re register at the same time. Guess that means that it is something the PBX is doing every morning !!!
