Anyway to force a call thru a partcular trunk from the handset? Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Is there anyway I can force a call to go through a particular trunk but just for that one call?

E.g. if my international calls use trunk X by default and I would like to use trunk Y for one call is there anyway of doing this from the handset, like prefixing a 9 or something in front of the number when dailing?

Use the Dial Patterns in Outbound Routing. A prefix may be separated by a '|'. There is an example in the help text of that field.

Thanks, I assume that the routes are tried one at a time in the order they appear in the list. I.E. I need to put the conditional routes (the ones with a prefix) before the default route.
