forwarding to landlines and mobile Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi

I,am wrestling with the configuration for call forwarding.
My sip account is working. Incoming traffic will ring my Nokia E60.
I would like to set up a follow me system. When the Nokia is not reachable via Wlan I would like to forward to my mobile network. When it is reachable but not answered i would like to forward to my office PSTN number.

So I have created I created a ringgroup that forwards to outside extensions if not answered. I also have set up an Enum trunk and outbound routes. But i, am stuck here. When calling PBXes from outside my devices rings for 30 seconds. If i don't pick up it seems forwarding the call but i get a busy tone.

I suppose i have set up things wrong

Regards
Fred

What about outgoing calls from your Nokia E60, can you reach your numbers from there?

Yes no problem, everything that goes out through my SIP trunk and sip provider works fine.

What i want is the following, when the call is originated from a PSTN number it connects through my sip provider and rings my device,as should be. But when i don't pick up i want to forward after 30 sec. to a PSTN number. I suppose it's still trying to use my sip trunk on which is the origanating call and i get a busy tone. It needs to go out on another route i suppose.

No, the forwarded call is not bound to the original trunk. As all other calls the trunk gets selected by outgoing routing. For the forwarding I suppose you created a classical extension. Try to reach that extension from your SIP extension.

and how about forwarding on not availabe Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

and how about forwarding to mobile when not in reach?
The only option i saw here is to dial •92 followed by the mobile numer.
When i try it while my device is out of WLAN reach i get a message from my sip provider saying that that the number is not reacheable.

I suppose the PBX is registering at the SIP address of my provider. But is it always registered or only when my device has loged on to PBXes?

Example:
You create a classical extension 210 that points to your mobile nunber 123456789. You can call it by dialing 210 and set the forwarding by dialing *92210.

See also the comment on the welcome page (where all the *-codes are listed).

O.K. Tried that, but my device says that the internet telephone service is unavialable when i dial that extension.

Ah my fault. I had the outgoing route restricted to be use by only one extension. So i can call out now by dialing that extension. However, forwarding still is not working when i not pick up the phone. I have crated a ring group. During office hours it says that 'when not answered' it should forward to the above mentioned extension. But when i try i get your german speaking voice telling me that i'am not reachable...

Still puzzles me
