I use a number of PAYG providers to create my own rate plan. The majority of providers are US based and use the US style dialplan, e.g. 011 for international calls. I'm using two European providers for routes to certain mobiles and to get access to international freephone numbers.
My users will kill me if I tell them "you must dial 01144" to call UK landlines, but "0044" when you are calling UK mobiles. To make things "easy" I wanted to remap the "011s" to "00s" for these routes.
I tried 011|+00. in the dial patterns and this didn't seem to do it. I also tried stripping the 011 int he dial patterns and adding the "00" in the trunk.
If it is possible, I would prefer to do this edit in the trunk by the way. For UK mobiles, my cheapest route is a European provider and my second cheapest is a US provider. I would like to put both of these routes in my outbound routings.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
