Multiple ring groups Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi. I have tried to configure my system for multiple ring groups in the following manner. When a call originates from X, it's forwarded to ring group 1, which RINGALL my extensions 11, 21 and 31. BUT, it's not working. If I disable the ring group and set up inbound routing to go straight to one extension, it's fine. So, I definitely have a problem with my group. Can someone help me please? Thanks! Michael

Start with creating one Ring Group only. Also provide us some details on the setup of your Trunk, Inbound Route.

In addition explain what you meant by: "When a call originates from X..." What does X represent?

Please also let us know what is not working and what happens instead. Please have a look into the call monitor therefore.

Hi there...I actually resolved the problem. If there is a non-existing extension listed in the ring group, any incoming call will immediately be disconnected. An extension must not be activated, but it must exist. It's fixed now. Thanks for the quick reply neverthless...GREAT SERVICE!!!
