Call Forking Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi,
Just playing around with call forking but hit a snag. If I point incoming DID to extension 1 to and Fork to extension 2 both phones ring OK, but if extension 1 is offline then the Fork to extension 2 doesn't happen.
Is this normal ?
I know I can do it with ring groups but Forking just seemed a neat solution for a simple scenario.

Edit: Just answered my own question, works perfectly if you also also set the extension to forward when unavailable.
