two extensions, only one can register? Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi,

I am not sure what is happening... My SPA3102 unable to register Line_1, while having no problem registering it's PSTN.

My SIP logs show "Unauthorized" to Line_1's REGISTER request.

I have seen it working a few days ago... however, now it doesn't, and I am doubtful it has anything to do with my settings.

Can you help?

Thanks,
dd.

Here are a few things you can try:

• Reboot both the router and the SPA-3K.
• Reset the password on both Line_1 and its' PBXes extension.
• Disable the PSTN registration to PBXes and verify if Line_1 registers.

- I rebooted, but it won't register.
- I disabled the second line (PSTN) -- still, it wn't register.
- I changed the password -- still, it won't register.
- I deleted the extenion, and created a new one -- still, it won't registr.
- I tried with a different provider: it did register.

Anything else I can do?

My $0.02 is that there ia some problem with PBXes...

dd.

edit: I chaned my SIP port to 5061 (having disabled the other line), and it now works. I have also changes the other line to 5062 -- they both register OK.

What is the problem registering with port 5060?? I used to work...

Most probably an ISP or router issue with blocking port 5060. That's my guess.
