Calls transfered to voicemail Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi there,

I have a Spa962. 3 lines are registered with 3 extensions on pbxes.org
1 of the lines has incoming route. The problem is that it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I tried at different times to call the incoming DID number and the extension rings, but sometimes it transfers to voicemail without ringing the extension.
When the problem happens, following are true:
1- The system log shows "everyone is busy/congested at this time"!
2- Phone still displays that it is registered without any problem.
3- Status menu on pbxes displays a strange icon (which I don't know what it means)

Anybody knows what the problem is?

To start troubleshooting the issue you described, turn off the two extensions which don't have the Inbound Route. Phone tab -> Line Key X -> Extension: Disabled, as well as Ext X tab -> General -> Line Enable: No

Then test whether incoming calls to your DID keep ringing, without any interruptions for a couple of days. Please keep in mind the green color on the extension buttons of the SPA, indicate the last registration status. So if the re-registration period is 30 minutes (1800 seconds) the LED will be green until the next registration attempt. It will turn and stay orange if the next registration attempt is unsuccessful.

If however the upstream ISP connectivity is affected, and the path to the SIP Proxy is blocked, the phone will not know about it, until the next registration attempt or next outgoing phone-call attempt.
