Trunk/Outbound Route Setup Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hello,

I have a configuration question regarding Trunks and Outbound Routing.

In my specific circumstance I need to setup multiple extensions that all use the same SIP provider. The issue is that my SIP provider requires me to use a unique username/password for EACH extension. That means that for outbound routing I need each extension to point to a single/unique trunk and not use a trunk sequence.

How can I accomplish this?

Best regards

So in essence your ITSP (SIP provider) is providing you with the credentials for multiple trunks.

Setup the trunks first, and then create an Outbound Route for each Trunk. Lock each route with the extension number you wish.
