Passing on star codes Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

One of my providers offers call blocking as a service when you dial *67 before the desired phone number. I would like to program an outgoing route that would pass this code on to the provider (*67+) under dialing plan.

Right now, this does not seem possible. Is this a feature which could be added?

You should be able to set this within trunk configuration.

You should also define this pattern in the Outbound Route configuration if you want this as an ad-hoc feature, otherwise the call originating from the SIP UA will never be routed to the proper trunk.

If you wish for the CallerID of all calls to be blocked, then i-p-tel's suggestion to insert this in the trunk configuration, should be sufficient.
