Nokia E60 no ringing Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi
I'm trying to configure my Nokia E60 in order to get SIP incoming call from my sip provider (Eutelia.it) but I'm not able to make my phone ring !

I have configured the incoming trunk, one extension and the incoming routing to that extension...with a sopthphon it works reularly

I have configured the E60 SIP client with the extension data and it registers with no problems and seems all OK (I can perform an echo test)

When I try to get an incoming call nothing happens ! the E60 is copletely mute...while on the status monitor the extension seems ringing .

any suggestion ? any idea how to terminate the fix number provided by my voip provider on the mobile handset nokia E60 ?

thank you in adavance, regards
Davide

Hi Davide,

sorry that your phone has not rung yet. I also thought of throwing mine out of the windows before it worked so I know how you feel. But now I like it very much.

We have checked your firmware version and settings. Nobody else reported this problem yet. So next please check your network connection in your receive direction. Just try a different WLAN behind a different router/provider to see if it is related.

Thanks,
Pascal

I have FIXED my problem...

I have sold out the nokia E60...I don't want to see any more this device until someone certify me that in less than five minutes my young brother is able to configure it.

I have spent an omount of time and resources that is not aceptable to make a sip device working

thank you all for the support...pbxe.org is a good product...but is not a solution in order to make a phone produced by Mr Nokia do what is advetized to do (make internet calls..).

anyone who has a E60 I think can easily be refunded since it doesn't work and it doesn't do what you have paid for

I will continue to monitor the forum..and I get back to my free account status...since I don't need advanced services.

regards
Davide

My Nokia Rang AT LAST!!!!!!!! Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Post Report Post to a Moderator       IP Information Go to the top of this page

Hi Pascal,

I have received a call from sipp-200 on my Nokia E60 (was that you), and went to the thread regarding Early Connect, now I can hear the ring tone when I call out and also able to receive calls from from X-lite to E60 (can you please tell me what was wrong),

But there is one problem, when I call my Nokia from X-lite (2 different extensions), my Nokia rings but when I hang up on X-lite Nokia keeps on ringing. This desn't happen when I call X-lite from Nokia.

Regards

We haven't changed anything - just made one testcall. You should really check your WLAN/Router. Our trace indicated that the first 5 INVITE packets were not answered. So probably do the packets when you want a call to get cancelled.
