RE: CID setting on outbound routes 11.10.2011 15:57 Forum: Feature Requests

Ops, now I got what you mean... That's something I could check! The thing is that I use the trunk also for inbound calls, so I kinda need them connected all the time, no?

I could, but with my provider it is not so cool because when I add funds to one account, they are not available to the other one... It's kind of a hassle to keep adding funds to each account and ending up with more funds on one and less on others...

CID setting on outbound routes 11.10.2011 10:25 Forum: Feature Requests

I have some different DIDs on a single trunk. I'd like to be able to set the CID for each DID based on the my outbound rules. That way, when I call country A, I could display my local number, not the default one for the trunk.

That also happens with MyDivert. The DID number is the one identified by the inbound rules.

inbound routes not working 05.10.2011 16:33 Forum: Bugs

Hi there!

I have a trunk from MyDivert, and that was the name of it. I've created an inbound route for that trunk. It wasn't working, so, checking the logs, I had the feeling that it would be identifying the username of that trunk. So, at the trunk name on my inbound route, I've put that instead. Again, not working. Then I changed to trunk name to match the username. No go.

I have no idea what is wrong, but wouldn't it be sufficient to just create an inbound route and put the trunk name/username and things would work?

[UPDATE] I discovered what was wrong - MyDivert is one of those trunks where one must use the DID number under the Trunk name on the inbound routes in order to get the call correctly identified and routed. Now it works.

G.729 passthru for the Soho account 23.06.2011 15:04 Forum: Feature Requests

Hi there!

Since G.729 as passthru has no impact on the server's load, and since most people has devices that has it, why not offer it as passthru for all paying customers?

I'd be really glad if I could use it. I use my PBXes as a way to keep in touch with my family, and it would be too expensive to subscribe for this coded...

Passthru not working in a Soho account 18.06.2011 19:53 Forum: Bugs

Hi there!

I have a SoHo account. I've enabled Audio Passthru on 2 of my extensions. However, it seems that the server is not allowing me to choose my preferred codec.

One of my extensions is a softphone. I've put a codec on top (let's say, Ilbc), and it's supported by the called peer. However, it seems that the connection is only achieved in G711u. Or, if I put G711a at the top, the call is only been placed in 711u.

Is that how it's supposed to be?

G.729 passthru in Soho account? 18.06.2011 18:56 Forum: News

Hi there!

Most of my extensions do support G.729. However, it seems that my SoHo account can't use it even in passthru mode. Is that correct?

Yours,

Francis
