RE: receiving calls on non-existing extensions 10.03.2009 21:47 Forum: Bugs

Hi

Well, I added the default route, but it's not helping.
I'm still getting calls on non-existing extensions.

Upgrading to delete what's left in a configuration is not fair. I paid my soho account for a full year, and I did not expect you to ask me more to get some errors fixed. So I hope you can do that manually.

Thanks.

receiving calls on non-existing extensions 07.03.2009 21:47 Forum: Bugs

Hi

I was a premium customer until the beginning of last year. I had queues, ringgroups, and a lot of extensions.

Yesterday I returned, with the same user-id, as a soho-user.

I'm still in the middle of configuring the pbx again, but I noticed this:
I'm receiving calls on extensions (or queue numbers) that existed a year ago, but they don't exist anymore now (because soho does not allow to use queues).

It's at least about these extensions:
299 and 300, but probably some other I don't know of yet.

I also noticed some little arrows next to some extensions, when I'm in the status screen. As far as I remember this also has something to do with queue, and users logged. This isn't something that a can correct with my soho-account, right?

Is it possible to clean up that account and only retain the current information in the configuration?
Please don't delete anything, since I already did spent some time in putting it back together.

Thanks !

not fair 06.12.2007 14:02 Forum: Bugs

In the mean while I installed my own switchvox.com server and I cancelled my automatic paypal-renewal for pbxes.org.

I think that i-p-tell is far from fair when treating people/customers like this.

I'll stop recommending pbxes to other people.

I started renting some rackspace to offer a hosted switchvox sollution.
I will not publish the domain name from where I will operate because that would not be correct towards pbxes...

i-p-tel, think before you talk/act...

Bye bye

alternatives 20.11.2007 15:01 Forum: Bugs

Well, there indeed aren't that much alternatives. But I found this one:

http://www.switchvox.com/sv?page=hosted_edition_faq

I'm very interested in when someone will offer this!
I installed the free edition on a local machine and it's really amazing.

mbs,

I don't know about telappliant their service level, but you can't compare a service with a montly cost of 9.95 euro to a service of (approx) 90 euro.

What I do know is that pbxes is doing a very good job for this 9.95 euro.

I only have one account with VoiceTrading, so, yes, 1 trunk.
You asked for my mail address. I can't reach you with a PM I think.
My email address is my pbxes login @gmail.com.

Thanks!

VoiceTrading 13.09.2007 10:34 Forum: Providers

I have some problems configuring my outgoing routes.

I want to use one route (VoiceTrading, or short: VT) for
all my outgoing calls.

I want 2 things:

- users should be able to dial as they are used to do:

* calls to Belgium need to be dialed as 02-1234567
(but VT expects 00-32-2-1234567)
* calls to all other countries should be dialed as 00-44-76-123456

- depending on the destination I want to make use of the grey/standard/premium routes that VT offers:

* for calling Belgium, I want to use Premium-routing, which expects me to dial 000-32-2-1234567.
* Calls to most other countries as Standard-route 00-33-2-1234567.
* Calls to some selected countries as Grey-route 00001-34-2-1234567

Can this be achieved? If yes, how?

Thanks !
Yves

i-p-tel,

Do you see any chance to create something like what the readers are asking?

A competing provider (I won't tell who in this forum) is offering something like it.
The setup is very easy, both for the user, and for those who programmed it too (I think :-) ).

It's the only feature from them that I like, all the rest can be done by PBXes in a better way. So, if you can't offer it, it wouldn't make me run away, but if you can offer it, it would make many people happy...

Especially to find out if it's the IP the call is originating from, or the account I'm using, I created a new voipcheap-account. I added 10 euros.

My first call immediatly had FUP exceeded.
So it must be the IP, I assume.

Something to negotiate about, with Betamax i-p-tel ?

Bobmats, how did you find out the different ip's for these servers?
If I do a tracert to www0, www1, www4, ... I always get the IP of www1:

www1.pbxes.com [88.198.36.79]

Since there is also a problem with the 3 euro-servers (they are blocked I presume), I want to ask my VSP to take a look at the Ip's of the euro-servers, but therefore I must be able to see what the IP's are.

You can, indeed, choose the server you want, or the one the closest to you, with the lowest latency (lowest ping-time).

Daumen runter! Bad quality in one way, not the other way 21.06.2007 16:00 Forum: Miscellaneous

Today I noticed that my account has been moved to www5/Paris. When did that take place?

My incoming soundquality is good, but my outgoing is terrible.
My customers can hardly understand me.

I think my account was on www1 (Nürenberg), but I'm not sure.
Can this be changed again please, because it's not something that I can select manually.

I'm using this for business, and I need it to work again asap if possible.

Now I have to setup my accounts manually in my ATA to be able to receive calls.

Thanks
Yves

But now it's possible. And I'm willing to pay for this, if Pascal would implement it.

I noticed that too. It has happend to me before.
I was on a holiday, so I was not able to use it.
1 day later (after 2 calls of 60 minutes) it showed the FUP message.
Maybe it's also triggered when hitting a preset number of times the 60 minute limit (per call)?

Alphabetical ordering trunks 25.05.2007 09:40 Forum: Feature Requests

Hi

I'm missing an ordered list of the trunks.

The extensions are ordered by number.

You add 100, then 102, then 101, the list is 100,101,102. This is not the case with the trunks.

It would be nice (and easy) to have it ordered.

Can this be done?

Thanks !

I tried that, but thats not working.

I get a busy tone.

In the call-log there is not entry of a call-attempt.
I also don't understand how the fritzbox is supposed to know what route to take for that "call", since I have multiple providers programmed. The pbxes account is the primary account for the handset I used to try this.

ATA intercepts *, what's the alternative? 20.02.2007 11:18 Forum: Terminal Equipment

My ATA uses the * when entered as the first "digit" for it's own purposes (Fritzbox goes in programming mode).

So it's not possible to dial *77 to create voice prompts.

I'm using my Nokia E70 to do that.

Is there a way to transform these commands into something that I can dial? eg the prefix 8.

So that dialing 877 would have the same effect as *77.

Any ideas?

Well, It doesn't matter.

Sometimes it happens with a VOIP-call, sometimes not.
It also happened when I tried to call my number with my cellular phone.

But the strange thing is that sometimes it works, 2 minutes later not anymore.
