RE: I'm down 19.04.2010 00:32 Forum: Bugs

It started registering again on it's own, and working normally later in the day. I still have the mixed language when I view the status page.

Really a strange and rare happening with your excellent services. Thanks for looking at it anyway.

I'm down 17.04.2010 21:35 Forum: Bugs

My extensions seem to be offline, with nothing being recorded in the logs. The Status page display of the listed items appears to be in German?? while the big frame is in English. Switching sites did no good. Are you experimenting with something?

Thanks for your help. I'm learning a whole lot more about PayPal than I ever wanted.

I had to access the original 2006 subscription transaction in the search to be able to access the cancellation option.

RE: Downgrade difficulties 29.08.2008 03:09 Forum: Miscellaneous

The July transaction doesn't show at Paypal; only the August 12 SOHO subscription is there. However, checking the AMEX statement shows that it _was_ a Paypal transaction [ 06/23/2008 PAYPAL *IPTEL GMBH 4029357733 CA ] !

I found that the old card was still in Paypal records, so they used it instead of the designated card for reasons I do not know at this time.

I guess it's a PayPal bug of some sort, the July transaction and all related information is completely missing from any account history I can obtain online. I'm very concerned that Paypal may have invisible transactions, or may have lost all information about a transaction. The worst part is that I apparently have no way to cancel the subscription, or to prevent it from automatically renewing in the future other than to dispute it when I see it on a bill. Then, everybody involved will be very unhappy.

Could you suggest how to resolve this issue with Paypal? It obviously is not a good situation for either of us. If you think we should communicate/resolve this through some means other than the forum, please let me know. Thanks.

I have only one Paypal account that was originally set up just for PBXes! ;-) I had resisted until then.

You may think you are exclusively using Paypal, but my premium account renewal processed exactly as stated above. I was very surprised at the time when it disappeared from being listing as a pending charge on the Paypal associated AMEX card, and was instead charged to the original card that I don't intentionally use anymore [also an AMEX]].

As far as attempting any refund on my premium account... who knows where it will go. ;-) Of course, I'd be just as happy if it were used to extend the duration of the new SOHO account since I am _very_ pleased with PBXes services!

Downgrade difficulties 28.08.2008 04:32 Forum: Miscellaneous

I didn't see a response to my emails, so I'll try here.

I can not find a way to downgrade my Premium account to just the SOHO level. My existing Premium service was automatically renewed on July 14, 2008 by charge to a credit card that is _not_ associated with my PayPal account. I had noticed a pending PayPal charge at one point, but it disappeared and the actual renewal was done using the old credit card with which I had originally opened my Premium account (I believe I had to establish the PayPal account only to verify my existence at the time).
I also purchased an annual SOHO account through my PayPal account on August 12, 2008. It is the only account for which I can find a method to cancel.

Thank you for your response, it was _not _ helpful in solving the problem!

FWI, my adapter _is_ registered to pbxes.org.... but it was not registering on it's own. Not until I manually switched the setting in the personal data section [_here_ via your web interface]. I have had to do this a couple of times in the past for up to a day before it would seem to come back.

It was only ecause I had read other postings, that I knew to make a _manual_ change there.. Mine does not appear to have been backed up anywhere automatically or I would not have had the problem. And, if I today changed the setting in personal data back to the NY server, it quit working. _That_ was the reason I notified you that something wasn't working correctly.

Some devices of mine may still be set to a www setting since they were set up long ago and are located in other states where I don't have access to them. I frankly don't remember. In any case, they were also able to register when I made the manual change, so I suspect they are also correctly configured.

No registration to NY/www4 09.09.2007 17:13 Forum: Bugs

Update 1219hrs. The problem seem fully related to the ww4/New York server. I can register to www2 and www5 without problems. A bit far, but better than nothing at the moment. Perhaps someone may want to look at New York?

No registrations to BPXes 09.09.2007 14:29 Forum: Bugs

None of my extensions are registered to the pbxes.org today for some reason. I have tried the reset option through personal information section and still nothing. Could you please check? Thanks

G.729 27.05.2007 03:54 Forum: News

Sorry, 29 euros for a $10US license is a bit too much of a markup for me. I'll just keep my g.729 licenses on my own asterisk box for my users that have to have it. Actually, I prefer G.726 when possible as a good compromise.
