RE: Google Voice as SIP Provider 08.10.2018 14:32 Forum: News

I had my outbound proxy port set 5060 for a few days until the registration started failing. I then switched it to port 36999 and it worked again for a few days. But I keep having to switch the outbound proxy port between 5060 and 36999 every few days. Why does this keep happening? Is there a port that is more stable?

It's definitely happening when I call my other Google Voice number which is my cell phone. But that's the only phone I can test with. So I don't know if it's happening on POTS lines too.

Setting up Obi100 28.08.2018 13:13 Forum: Terminal Equipment

I'm a complete newbie here. I'm trying to set up my Obi100 to connect to my Google Voice number and I'm not really sure how to do it. I already set up a trunk to use the Google Voice account but I don't know how to proceed.

I was able to get it working but now my phone doesn't sound the ring tone even though I've dialed an outbound number. And when I hang up before the outbound call is answered, it doesn't stop ringing the outbound call. How do I fix this?
