wütend Garbled outbound Voice 12.11.2012 12:57 Forum: Bugs

Hi,

I've had PBXes configured for a few months now. All of a sudden outbound calls sound garbled to the receiver of the call. I've made no changes to the system when it became garbled.

I have another trunk that does not go through PBXes and it works fine.

I have a PBXes extension at each of two different sites that both used to work. Now they both don't work. No network changes and they both have different network equipment.

This has been quite unreliable and I think I'm going to find an alternative provider that actually works if this cannot be resolved.

I've tried all the usual "go into Personal Data and save" tricks.

Thanks telagente00. I'll have another look at the router configuration.

I have the phone registering to two extensions and only the PBXes extension loses registration. The other one with a different provider is rock solid.

Is there anything specific to look at in the config of the extension for PBXes? I've basically just got username, password, proxy, and unique port configured.

Likewise for me except with a Cisco SPA504G. Loses connection failed(authentication) and a reboot fixes it.
