New extensions feature available on Callentric 03.05.2013 14:36 Forum: Providers

When I logged into my callcentric account today, I noticed they now have "extensions". You can create additional sip trunks identified by a separate phone# and password, thus making it easier to route things on the pbxes.org side.

Before I had to create a sub-pbx with a separate sip uri and forward the DID from callcentric to this uri to be able to tell which number my call was coming from. Now I can simply create separate inbound trunks, create separate inbound routing for each of the trunks. I just though those of you on callcentric might like to know this.

blacklisted by alfaohc? 03.05.2013 14:30 Forum: Bugs

Whenever I try to call the cleveland weather number 216-931-1212, I get an error message from Callcentric, Google Voice, or any other sip provider that I use. But the call is being blocked at the pbxes.org level.

If I use Google Voice directly or callcentric directly, the call goes through. The number is a regular local number that has been around for my entire lifetime, so who is this alfaohc and why did he/she blacklist this number?

RE: how do I tell which DID is calling? 20.12.2012 17:32 Forum: Providers

I did see that voip.ms allows you to create seperate sip uri's. That would solve the problem.

The only way I found to differentiate with callcentric was send calls from one did through normally, and the other to a sip address. (I used semick0110-220@pbxes.org I think),

Then I have 2 routes / with nothing in the trunk name will catch the calls made from callcentric to semick0110-220@pbxes.org.

The 2nd route with callcentric in the trunk name, will catch the did's calls that are being sent normally (SIP device (default) setting).

So callcentric kinda sucks, and so does pbxes. Callcentric won't let you create additional sip uri's, but does send the DID in a tag. Pbxes.org will not let you read the tag sent by Callcentric that does have the did in it.,

per call blocking 11.12.2012 00:34 Forum: Miscellaneous

I need to be able to send per call blocking from my obi-100 for testing occasionally. If I leave the star codes working on the ata, it sends a privacy bit supposedly to pbxes, but pbxes seems to ignore this.,

If I pass *67 straight through to pbxes, that doesn't work either.

Anyone know how to make this work?

Thanks,
Scott

OBi100 *67 private call? 08.12.2012 13:11 Forum: Terminal Equipment

If I place a call from the OBi00 Ata with *67, it it seems to be ignored by pbxes.org

I don't see any way to indicate a private call through pbxes.org - my outgoing trunk is on callcentric.

RE: how do I tell which DID is calling? 07.12.2012 21:02 Forum: Providers

I found it is possible to forward DID's from callcentric directly to a sip extension that is set up in pbxes.org, so that is how I figured out which DID was calling.

My only problem now is the digital receptionist is intercepting calls made directly to my extension 200 using the sip uri semick0110-200@pbxes.org. I can't figure out how to only have the digital receptionist answer normal inbound trunk calls.

how do I tell which DID is calling? 02.12.2012 16:54 Forum: Providers

I want to assign a particular DID to an extension. I have 3 DID's coming in from the same sip account (callcentric). I don't see how I can tell which DID is calling other than by SIP account.

traurig can't add callcentric trunk 29.11.2012 23:17 Forum: Bugs

I cannot add my callcentric trunk. It says it is in use by an old account of mine. I have no way to log in a delete it. This is why i am paying for a soho. What am I supposed to do?

Well I just paid for another soho on the old account so I could delete the account...looks like all the help and friendliness has dried up here.

Now I have everything working, I have on callcentric in/out trunk and one gtalk trunk....I'm trying to figure out how to use the Google voicemail as well.
