Thread: Outbound GVoice Calls, no talk path |
|
My inbound calls have talk path, just fine. I can perform the echo test just fine.
Yesterday, I stopped being able to make outbound calls using my GVoice trunk. Well, I make a call, and the call connects to the other party, but there is no audio.
What's up with that?

Thread: No talk path for TFNs |

Hello,
I am not hearing any audio when dialing most numbers out of my pbx. I can hear calls between extensions, but not ones using my trunks. I was able to hear audio when calling my home phone number, but I can't hear audio dialing various other numbers.
***UPDATE***
I was out for the morning. I just tried my non-GV trunk and it was working fine. Perhaps I didn't test it correctly, earlier.
The GV trunk was still not working, in or out. I reentered the password in the trunk config, and it is now working perfectly.

Yeah, I gave up on it and bought a Grandstream HT. I config'd a local asterisk and traced packets, to figure out how to set up the 8x8 adapter, so it would register, and then I switched to pbxes.org to no avail. The HT is well worth the $30. I was up and running in minutes.

It's working now, thanks.
I can dial out successfully.
I can dial *43 and one of my conference rooms successfully.
I cannot dial between two of my sip phone extensions e.g. 1001 and 1003. No biggie for the moment.

Hello,
I've been without service for the past 4 hours.
Reading the email about the outage, I tried restarting my voip adapter. I also went online and restarted my pbx. I'm getting 404-not found for my registration attempts.
Is there an ETA when accounts will be restored? If I was a premium member, would I experience these issues?
Service has been EXCELLENT besides this outage, by the way
Thanks,
Eric

I have an old 8x8 DTA310, with the older firmware on it, so I can set the SIP info.
from the config page: DTA version 1.0 US (8x8 001111)
I can get it to register on a local asterisk instance, but I can't get it to register at pbxes.org
I do get a dialtone (I think if it didn't register, I'd hear a fast-busy), but I don't see the extension active on the Status page.
I try dialing one of my conference bridges, but the call progress times out.
I tried System Log, tracing from the pbxes web console, but there's nothing showing up there.
Any ideas?
Eric
