traurig calls between extensions drop out after a second 23.02.2015 04:27 Forum: Bugs

This has started to happen in the last few days, but our setup hasn't changed and has been working fine the last few years so can only assume it's something on PBXes end. Incoming calls work fine, just not paging between extensions.

I also had this issue earlier today, but managed to log on using a mobile internet connection. Could it be a dns issue affecting your connection? I manually transferred my account to www4 server and it's back working now, although all our phones keep experiencing intermittent authorisation failures.

voicemail no message option 15.01.2015 04:15 Forum: Feature Requests

It would be great to be able to direct calls to go to voicemail but without playing the voicemail message first. This functionality is in Asterisk 11 already, could it be implemented in PBXes?

@i-p
This is a great addition to the configuration options, but could you please also address the issues regarding www2.pbxes.com? I'm sure there are other uses who are upset by the lack of communication regarding the ongoing problems with this server.

RE: When www2.pbxes.com goes down... 17.02.2014 01:58 Forum: Bugs

The issues with the www2.pbxes.com server have been going on for weeks now. We have successfully moved to using the www1 server, but this has much greater latency. Are the issues with www2 server going to be ongoing?

RE: When www2.pbxes.com goes down... 31.01.2014 01:04 Forum: Bugs

Thanks for the reply. I'd regard any failure that renders the service unusable as pretty catastrophic though. Changing servers won't fix the problem when it inevitably occurs again in the future. Perhaps the policy regarding what constitutes a failure and when to automatically switch servers needs to be changed. There is no way of changing servers without changing timezones which makes the manual switching slightly more annoying. This would be a good feature if it were possible, although if you can't even connect to the server that hosts your PBX to begin with, then ultimately redundant.

Update: www2.pbxes.com still experiencing issues pretty much daily. Status reports massive packet loss and unresolved critical errors.
Can someone from pbxes please respond to my message? What is going on?

When www2.pbxes.com goes down... 30.01.2014 01:57 Forum: Bugs

We've been having a lot of problems with this server this month causing garbled calls etc. At the moment there are 3 critical unresolved issues one of which is "Packet loss = 62%" which can't be good. I was under the impression that accounts got moved to different (working) servers when problems arose. This never seems to happen. Why is this?

40 minutes and counting and our phones are still not working properly, we can't hear any calls.... this isn't great service guys.

add + symbol to outbound calls via dial plan 22.07.2013 03:09 Forum: Feature Requests

Pbxes identifies all international numbers being dialed out of Australia as being USA ones due to the 0011 prefix we use for international numbers. But if I dial with a + instead it identifies the correct country. Dialing a + is not possible on most phones so it would be nice to be able to replace 0011 with a + via the dial plan so that the call history showed the correct country.

Glad it wasn't only us as confirms a problem on pbxes end. As premium account holders it would be nice to have this addressed by pbxes staff, or at the very least acknowledged.

www2 outage 29.08.2011 06:30 Forum: Bugs

We couldnt connect to pbxes for a good 5 hours today. Recieved no outage email from pbxes, nor was the account transfered to a functioning server. This affected the office I work in significantly. I wondered if anyone else had this happen today?
