RE: CallThru Dialing Problem 19.03.2010 03:19 Forum: Bugs

Thanks for your reply.

I looked into it and tried different DTMF.

I think it also depends on the phone cause some phones don't have any problems when DTMF is set on auto.

While changing this or maybe someother setting, there is a problem now.

Whenever I call into my trunk registered at PBXes, and I use CallThru to dial a number using another trunk, I get an error 'This account is already in use, if you think this is an error, contact your admistrator'. The message is somewhat like that. It seems that PBXes is giving that error cause of the sound I usually here when I dial an invalid number.

Please help me resolve this issue.

Thank you

RE: CallThru Dialing Problem 06.03.2010 19:27 Forum: Bugs

Hello,

Thanks for replying to my post.

If I understood the correct meaning of ITSP, then I am using sipsorcery.com.

Let me explain you my calling process.

I dial a number that is registered onto to PBXes. The provider is worldline.ca.

PBXes picks up the call and gives me a dial tone to dial. Now my first problem is here. When I try dialing the number, PBXes doesn't seem to take the first number as I still here the dial tone. To make things easy lets say I am dialing 0123456789.

I have to keep on pressing '0' till the dial tone doesn't go away and then I dial all the other numbers without repeating them.

I also noticed that this problem occurs on some phones, while some phones are perfectly fine. On the other hand, at times the phones that didn't have this problem suddenly start having this problem.

When I successfully punch in my destination number, PBXes uses one of my Trunks to dial. I use worldline.ca as the provider directly and not the sipsorcery trunk.

When the call is answered and if its a bank or any other numerical answering system, it doesn't seem to take all my digits. So if i punch in 1234567, it might take 2567, or some other random numbers from above.

Thank you

CallThru Dialing Problem 06.03.2010 08:13 Forum: Bugs

Hello,

I am able to get a dial tone when I dial an incoming number registered on PBXes.

The only problem I face is that when I dial a bank or anyother number that requires numerical inputs, the data I punch in using my dial pad always goes incomplete or incomplete.

I tried chaning DTMF modes but still nothing helps.

At times I am not able to dial using the CallThru service. When I get the dial tone, I have to keep pressing my first number till the dial tone doesn't go. Then I dial the rest of my number.
It is strange that why it is only the first number that it takes a while to go through.

Please help.

Thanks

Callthru using specific Trunk in Inbound Routing 13.12.2009 07:46 Forum: Feature Requests

Hello,

I had a question and if its not possible its a feature request that would help me and many others.

In the inbound routing settings, when you select 'Call Thru', PBXES matches the caller ID and gives me a dial tone. However when I dial a number it uses my Trunk selection using the outbound routing selection settings.

This makes it difficult for me to remember the prefixes when dialing from different numbers.

I was thinking if it is possible to use specific Trunks when dialing using 'Call Thru' without having to dial prefixes but by matching Caller ID of the number I dial from.

So when I dial from a number I entered in Inbound Routing, the Call Thru service dials the number using a specific trunk without having to dial any numbers that select the trunks in Outbound Routing.

Thank you
