Thread: RE: All incoming calls going to voice mail |

This problem of incoming calls going directly going to voice mail is with all extensions associated with Cisco ATAs hardware boxes and also for Gizmo5 clients.
It is happening only for some extensions and not for all extensions.
The incoming calls to an extension 101 that goes to my Nokia E61 works fine.
I deleted and recreated these problematic extensions but the problem still persists.
Any ideas?

I have soho account and few extensions.
For many extensions, whenever there is an incoming call (from outside or from another extension), it says "xx is on the phone" and call goes to voicemail.
I searched the FAQs - there was this given as a FAQ. It asked me to save the Extension again. I deleted and added one extension. But I still get the same problem.
ANy ideas? Does the PBX need to restarted or something?
How do I fix this?
Thanks for your help.

I want to setup an incoming DID as a 100% dedicated fax - that always gives a fax tone to the caller.
I have read the previous Fax message thread on the board. Perhaps, I did not quite get the caveats and have not been able to get it to work. I am new to Asterisk - so maybe my understanding is flawed.
Here is what I tried:
Step 1) Add new SIP Extension 91
- all values default values
Step 2) Add new Incoming routing
trunk : <mylogin>-91
fax extn: system
fax email: myemail
fax switch: yes
set destination : extn 91
all other values are default values
Step 3) Point my DID ring-to-destination to <mylogin>-91@pbxes.com
Step 4) Call my DID and expect fax tone.
But it does not work.
PBXes Call monitor shows that PBXes gets the call, and considers 91 as ext-local and drops the call.
What is wrong?
I have re-read the thread
http://www1.pbxes.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=156&sid=
It is too vague, cryptic and open ended. I wish there is better alternative to this trial-and-error-hopefully-works approach. Are there any step-by-step instructions for normal configuration usage of Pbxes?

Thread: RE: Adding Incoming DID for Extensions |
|
I have two DIDs that I want to forward to my pbxes.com account. I tried few things but it did not work. I checked previous messages here - but cant find answers. Can someone please help?
I want one incoming DID to directly ring Extn 102.
I tried forwarding DID to <myaccount>-102@pbxes.com and it did not work.
So I tried what is suggested here. But that did not work too.
Here is my config/setup:
- I setup SIP extension 21.
- I setup Trunk called Trunk01
- I setup incoming route for trunk01 that forwards calls extn 102
- I edited SIP extension 21 and set DIAL to Trunk01
Now, I expected incoming calls to <myaccount>-21 to directly ring Ext 102. This is not happening.
Is there a simpler way to have a DID directly ring a PBXes Extension?
Thanks in advance for help.

I have figured it out and got it to work. It is simpler than I thought. Thanks.

I signed up for the pbxes premium account and trying to configure the SugarCRM so that each extension gets a SugarCRM userid and password.
Is this possible? I added employees and then users, but there is no way to assign the passwords.
How do the other users login? I presumed they should go to http://pbxes.org/crm/ but that does not seem to work.
Anyone actually using this Pbxes/SugarCRM integration?
Is there a limit on the number of users I can add?
