Ok I will change the password on the affected account. However, why are the other two GV accounts disconnected if they have been working properly?

RE: Google Voice Peering 18.05.2016 02:56 Forum: News

I'm experiencing a problem with Google Voice trunks after using them for years without a problem.

I had two gv trunks working fine for years. However after ipkall discontinuing service I had to get a third gv account into my pbxes.

I'm adding it tonight and when I add it, as normal google blocks the first attempt and the account is not connected. however the other two accounts are also not connected.

some time later, I tried setting up the new gv account without having unblocked it at google and the other two gv acounts were connected.

I went into the google.com/blocked page and unblocked the ip from germany and tried again to get the third acount connected. Now all three accounts are disconnected again.

I know I have the right passwords in place. I'm logging into the accounts to verify them so the passwords are correct and even if the new one was incorrect, why are the other two being disconnected as well?

I logged into all three accounts to see if there are blocked ip's and there are none.

Is it a matter of just waiting before trying again? should I restart the pbx? is there a limit to the number of gv trunks? why should I have to change my gv passwords if i'm typing them in correctly?

Google voice inbound calls to PBXes is not working for me. When calling both GV lines from an outside line I get "The google voice subscriber is not available...." .

One line I have it inbound routed to an extension that forwards all calls to a conference room. I tested dialing the extension and the conference room answers.

The other line I have it inbound routed to an extension. I have eyebeam sip registered to that extension and active.

I call either line from outside and neither answers. I've restarted the pbx twice and it doesn't improve the situation.

I would really appreciate your help as I was trying to show a friend why he should get a premium pbxes account and now I can't

DTMF tone drops conference caller 25.08.2011 22:30 Forum: Bugs

Pbxes is awesome, with the sub-pbx and the google voice connectivity i've come to use it more and more.

However I want to host conference calls and I have a problem. When a conference callers is in one of the conference rooms, if he or she presses a button on her phone (DTMF tone), the caller gets dropped from the conference.

Please help me fix this.

After changing the settings yesterday and making some test calls that went thru, today I can't go into my pbxes setup page and my phones can't connect to my pbxes.

Can this be related to my setup of the google voice trunk? I thought if my pbxes got hung I could go into the setup and restart it, but I can't even get there. I was only able to log in here.

Ok, it is working now using the same setup. It must have been a transient thing.

One advice , put a 1 before any US number, otherwise It might be routed as an international call.

Great to see this feature included in pbxes. I was going to ask for it.

I'm trying to get it set up. First I called some numbers from my google mail browser windows as I usually do. Some rang for ever but I got a couple to answer and talk .

Then I tried setting it up on pbxes with a Gmail trunk and outbound routing.

Test calls I got a female voice saying the call could not be completed.

Then I tried calling those numbers again from my google mail app window, got the same femaile voice there. Good news but bad because I can't get the call to work.

So I closed the browser, and opened it again and tried to call.. now calls just ring and no answer. Could be Goggle voice? or my account with them is going haywire?

I would like to thank the pbxes team for the sub-pbxes option. It's really useful for me to allow an SPA-3000 to connect me to the PSTN.

However, it would be good to add the sub-pbxes in the status screen as a trunk so that users could know the status of it.

You want my SPA-2002 Configuration or my pbxes configuration?

How could I post the SPA-2002 configuration? it's a lot of pages from the device. The pbxes config is a lot easier to post.

I do have to not that I had tried to connect my SPA-2002 to a trixbox with the help of a document for that and it had all that config on it already. So maybe that's why it went so easy for me. Just changed the proxy, user and password from the trixbox parameters to the pbxes parameters.

As a preview, here's what I did on pbxes.org:

1- created a sub-pbx, assigned a user name and password for it. Nothing else.
2- Used that user name and password and the proxy name pbxes.org on my PSTN configuration screen on the SPA 2002.
3- The device restarted and after a few seconds said it was registered.
4-Connected my SPA2002 to the PSTN line, that is I connected the PSTN line to the PSTN port.
5- Dial plan on the PSTN line was already xx. so it would accept any number
6-Created an outbout routing on pbxes to have it route local calls to the SPA2002.
7-Tried a call from one of the extensions so that it would match the outbound routing created.
8-I could hear it connect to the SPA and pass the digits to it as it opened the line and dialed them. :-)

Excellent, I was able to use my Sipura 2002 to dial from my pbxes extensions to PSTN number thru my home PSTN line.
went much smoother than I thought.

RE: extensions same location can't register 06.01.2010 20:50 Forum: Terminal Equipment

1) We have a 1mb DSL symetric connection provided by Amnet Honduras

2) Router/firewall is a Watguard Edge Series x50e

3) extensions are Xlite's and pap2's, trunks is a spa-400 or 4000 not sure

4) They do give us 5 public ip's to use, although currently we are using only one.

Well, purchasing the support credit is a bit complicated in chicken and egg sort of way. We need to prove that this can work before boss can commit money to it, but if we need to buy support credit they he will probably say no and look for a different solution. Maybe if you could outline what would be required to do this I could encourage him enough.

extensions same location can't register 06.01.2010 18:21 Forum: Terminal Equipment

I've had one extension in different locations with no problem. But now I want to put 13 extensions in a single location that share one internet connection. I've been challenged by the boss that pbxes can't do this and I want to win that challenge.

After doing a test with only a couple of them I saw that I couldn't keep all of them connected. One or two would register but the third or fourth one couldn't and then it could but one of the other two would not, etc. changing port on one would help.

It's not a problem if they can't talk to each other because the location is small. But I do need to get them all connected and make and receive calls thru the trunks.

I'm thinking it might be a port issue but wanted to confirm. So my questions are:

- How can I keep them al registered?
- If I use different ports how many extensions can I have sharing one port?
- I also have some trunks at that location (SPA-400). port wise how do I connect that as a trunk to pbxes?

Thanks.

Fallback froze my pbx 05.01.2010 18:33 Forum: Bugs

Yesterday I was notified that my Pbx was being transfered to another site automatically. Hours later I was told that it was transfered back to the normal site.

However during the failover or the failback, my pbx froze. I couldn't register into it from my extensions. Only until I restarted it was I able to register.

Is this normal behavior?
