Open Forums for all... Sorta...

Hello,

Just wanted to make an appeal for open forums.
I pay for premium service every month only to use
the forums. I think Forums and open communication
is a very important part of a business. Building a
community builds a following.

So, what I was thinking would be how bout a
probate period. All new Basic members have
to wait 6 months before they can post. That
would allow time for them to scrap it out and
learn and read to avoid all the recurring questions.
By that time all the posts they would create would
be more specific and benefit the community.

it's strange anyhow that the forum is closed for non paying members. What I see now also i people posting questions on some german forums about pbxes.

My idea is, the more people like the products pbxes the more they are maybe willing to pay. But as you said you only paid to get to the forum, so it's just about the approch the owner wants to take.

Yeah. I guess it's about what type of customers he wants.
We are a very small operation so we don't need a ton of
features... But they would be fun to have anyway.
I just believe in the free flow of information.
It's beneficial to all.
