skype connect

Hi,
Did anyone get skype connect working successfully for incoming calls ?
I have set it up as per the skype instructions, the trunk registers ok and my skype business account shows as online. Incoming calls do not ring but just hang up after 2 seconds.
Regards

RE: skype connect

Hello
i guess this is similar problem where all responses are being sent to wrong port thereby the incoming calls are being timed out .
i have similar problem
http://www1.pbxes.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=1341573034&sid=

Thr trunk registers , but on outgoing calls there response is being sent to 5060 port where as the account needs it at 5062 .

Though i am not 100 % sure this would be case but for sure it would have something to do with responses being sent out by pbxes not reaching the port skype want it to .

Have your tried it on some softphone or ATA and have any issues there ? .. if it works there then the issue has to be with response messages . Else you need to check with skype connect .

RE: skype connect

Hi,
I'm not sure if its the same issue or not.
My incoming skype connect calls show in the call monitor but always hangup at exactly the same point in the system log.

RE: skype connect

Well i guess it is same issue , as even here if i redirect calls directly , the phone rings but drops off after few rings , as the switch does not receive response back from pbxes on right port and thereby doesnot detect call as connected .
Well iptel would be best guy to tell if issues are actually similar.

RE: skype connect

Hi,
The phone doesn't ring, the call doesn't get that far. It hangs up before routing to an extension, not even any progress messages.

IPTel, do you have any experience of this ?

Regards

EDIT: Anyone got any insight into this ?

RE: skype connect

no problem here with skypeconnect.

.Setup trunk as usual
.setup incoming rule: TRUNK NAME MUST BE YOUR SKYPE CONNECT USERNAME

no problem so far.

Add contact to skype, restart skype client; you buddy appear online.

Daumen hoch! RE: skype connect

Hi,
Thanks for this. Can you clarify which Username.
When setting up Skype Connect you have a Skype Manager username, a Sip profile name and a Business account name.
Regards

EDIT: All working ok now thanks. Inbound Routing trunk is set to the Sip username of the skype connect trunk.
