How to exclude an extension from making outside calls?

How can I set up an extension to only make internal (extension to extension calls) and block all calls to the outside?

I see that you can enter extensions Extension field in the outbound routing setup but that means I'd have to enter all the permitted extensions to all the outbound routes which would not be a very practical way of doing it. Is there an easier way?

Hi,
How about creating the first outbound route which is valid for any number but with just that specific extension specified, that should catch its calls without upsetting your other routes/extensions.

Thanks. That seems to work.

Glad it helped,
When starting up from scratch its easier to logically order the extensions, for example all extensions without outside access could start with a 1xx etc .
That way makes it simpler to manage new extensions.
