Adding multiple extension to use outgoing route

How do you add multiple extension to use an outgoing route. It meantions using X for wildcard, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Can you please explain with examples of what I need to type and in what field for this to work. Thanks

RE: Adding multiple extension to use outgoing route

Sure.

Let's just say you have setup extensions 200 through 299, and you wish to allow access to a particular route only for certain extensions.

By entering 23x on the extension field of the Outbound Route, you essentially limit access to this route to extensions 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, 238 and 239.

By entering 2[35]x on the extension field of the Outbound Route, you essentially limit access to this route to extensions 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239 as well as 250, 251, 252, 253, 254, 255, 256, 257, 258 and 259.

I hope the above examples clear it up a bit.

RE: Adding multiple extension to use outgoing route

Your answer is pretty clear.

In case i have extension 1 and extension 1001, can i use xxx1 to allow both?

Do you have a wildcard similar to ? in regexp?

Thanks
