Outbound Routing/Extension problem

Dear PBXES,

I’m a new user. I was able easily setup my account ... but I have persistent issue and I can not fix it. I tried everything and I spend very long time without any success.
Here is my problem:
When I attempt to identify/specify number or numbers of extensions (i.e. 2xx, other patterns or concrete extensions numbers, etc) in Outbound Routing > Extension Box, after this I was unable to plaice any call and I'm getting fast busy signals. This is looks like if I’m putting anything in Extension Box I cannot place calls at all. If I deleted all extensions from this Box (Extension Box empty) I can place calls without any problems.
Because of this malfunction I can not really specify extensions at all and if I do this I will be unable to place calls.
I tried all possibility to fix it but nothing helped.
Please help me fix this problem with my account.
What is wrong with my account?
Maybe it is needs to be reset?

Sincerely,
Mike

It is not your account, it is not working.

I have tried this for months, and last time I tried it the calls showed on my outbounbd provider CDR, just that the PBX never connected them to me.

I hope you do understand that this is to limit an extension to placing calls only on a specifiied route, and not normally required.

Thank you for your help, but this is WORKING for my friend and few other peoples who I know also.
So, I, We should be able to specify the extensions in outbound routing.
BTW, I’m really understand that this is to limit an extension to placing calls only on a specified route and I’m really need this function.

I think we both need this function, however untill Pascal can make time to get through some of these issues, we may may have to suffer. I suspect there may be some config tweaks as a work around.

Lampe RE: Outbound Routing/Extension problem

A user in the German forum found the reason why such outbound routes bound to extensions sometimes work and sometimes don't work:

He created a general route (XX., no limit to extensions) as the last one in the table of outbound routes. With this route all the other routes limited to certain extensions, which were in front of it, worked fine. Without this route, they didn't.

Are you able to reproduce this?

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.
Yes, I can. But this is not a normal functioning at all and it should work without this trick.
Could you please fix it?

Thank you.

RE: Outbound Routing/Extension problem

@wszelaki
Please have a look at the above postings. They describe a workaround for the poblem. By using this trick you can solve it. If it does not work for you, please describe what you have done and what your problem is. Still visible is not enough for understanding what you want to know.

Daumen hoch! RE: Outbound Routing/Extension problem

The problem has been fixed. So the workaround should not be neccessary any more.
