Requests on ports 62714 and 62716?

I keep getting incoming requests from 62714 and 62716 with an IP address that comes back to pbxes. Anyone know what these are? And should I open the ports on my router or what?
Here is the message I get:

[INFO] Tue Feb 12 04:11:19 2008 SIP ALG rejected packet from 88.198.36.79:5060 to 24.90.106.43:62716

Any info is appreciated. Thank you.

What kind of router do you have behind your cable modem, because its' ALG (Application Layer Gateway) seems to reject packets destined for higher numbered ports. Can its' ALG functionality be turned off?

Also, what kind fo SIP User Agent (soft-phone, ATA, IP phone) are you using behind the router? Can its' RTP ports be remapped to lower numbered ports?

I have a Zyxel X550 router. And the phones are Polycom IP500's. Could you give me some search terms on what I can read up on to understand this issue. I am sure I can remap everything, but I want to know what the problem actually is and all that. Thank you so much.

My router seems to be running all the ALG things. They all have a check on them.

Application Level Gateway (ALG) Configuration
PPTP :
IPSec (VPN) :
RTSP :
Windows/MSN Messenger : (automatically disabled if UPnP is enabled)
FTP :
H.323 (NetMeeting) :

Aaaah, now we are getting somewhere.

Since the SIP ALG is currently running on your router, first try to set the "audio bypass" setting to Yes, for the extensions residing behind that firewall.

Except the messages logged by your router, do the calls complete properly between extensions? Have you experieced any "one-way voice" issue?

The second option is to inquire with the support group of the router vendor, which port range their SIP ALG allows through the firewall.
