Ringing group - parallel ringing
Hi,
In my ringing group I had two SIP (nokia) extensions 100,200 and one celluar (Classic) extension 400 for parallel ringing (RINGALL).
In the ringing group also folowing were configured:
1- ring for 30 sec
2- If no answer go to extension 400 (celluar), part of prallel ringing above.
Now when call comes I hear rining twice on the calling party (another cell phone), but the nokia extensions don't ring.On the third rining tone nokia extension rings once and immediately transfers to the cell phone.
Questions:
1- Why doesn't the cell phone (x 400) rings in parallel with extensions - part of the ringall group?
2- Why doesn't the nokia ring while two ringing tones are heard?irdurrani@gmail.com
RE: Ringing group - parallel ringing
For searching the answer it is not a good idea to have an extension be part of the ring group and be the "no answer" destination at the same time.
Probably your provider connects the call to your cellphone already when it starts to ring. So your two SIP extensions stop to ring in that moment.
If you can proof that you can either use your cellphone only as "no answer" destination, not being part of any ringgroup, or use another provider to call it.
