VM files not working / messages not recorded

Hi - Voicemail used to work fine until a week or so back: I could dial into *97 and listen to the messages

Now, I get a mail saying for example
There is a new voicemail in mailbox 1001:
From: "+xxx" <+xxx>
Length: 1:48 seconds

But the file attached is 1k size and obviously not working, but also logging into the VM the promt announces the message but it then skips immediately to the options to process the message. It's as if the message is not recorded / the sound file is not readable.

What am I doing wrong?

Lampe RE: VM files not working / messages not recorded

This is related to incoming Google Voice calls on www1 and www3, after upgrade of these servers in March/April. This is now working again. Thanks for your report!

RE: VM files not working / messages not recorded

I got your test voicemail smile

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have held as starting the next day it all returned to before: I get a notification but the message cannot be played / is 1kb.

Can you please check again for a complete fix?

RE: VM files not working / messages not recorded

We've activated additional log output to diagnose this.

Apparently Google Voice calls are no more answered by PBXes after a while. In this case GV Voicemail kicks in, and you will get a notification from there if the caller leaves a message.

RE: VM files not working / messages not recorded

Intermittent failures to accept incoming calls from Google Voice should have vanished since 2 June. We have changed configuration.
