smile General Delivery Mailbox

We have created a 'virtual' mailbox to receive after hours voicemail. --
- call comes in
- after hours message
-call is transferred to mailbox 301 which is not assigned to a physical phone

Is there someway to set the recording for that mailbox without the use of a phone?

also is this the best / proper way to handle this?

Thanks

RE: General Delivery Mailbox

The easiest way, would be to register a soft-phone to that extension, and create the recording. Every other way is prone to problems.

The proper way would be to register to the GDM extension using an IP-phone located in a very quite room, and record the outgoing and/or the IVR messages through it.
