Hello to you, glad to post my first thread here. Iam just starting using your services as soho account. Here is my problem: All the set up seem ok and I got the green light on. I also made the echo test wich worked just fine. But I can not make any phone call. The answering message saying that "We'r not able to connect the number you have dialed, pls try later..?? I think that I make my phone call correctly, " country code + area code + 7local numbers" So could help me to resolve this issue. Thanks Mario

Hi Mario,
In the Call Monitor screen you should see if your call went out to a trunk correctly. You should then look in the System Log to see exactly what happened with it.

I looked to the call monitor and each call I tried to make is registered and marked as "recet CDR" or "Playback" with the duration of the call 4 or 5 secs. The name of the trunk appeared correctly. Also during a call test, I have been looking the status section working in real time and what hapened is that I saw the icon phone hang up the receiver in the "extensions" and immidiatly hang down. In the section of the trunk it light up green a secon and shot down instantly. Always this message record saying that " we are not able to complete the call as dialed, pls try later " I don't know what I made wrong...anyway if someone can help me, it will be much appreciated. Looking through your account's System Log, it appears there is an issue with the authentication of your orora trunk.

Aug 22 00:27:51 NOTICE[126713] chan_sip.c: -- Registration for '18193509431@freephonie.net' timed out, trying again (Attempt #78)
Aug 22 00:27:51 NOTICE[126713] chan_sip.c: Forbidden - wrong password on authentication for REGISTER for '18193509431' to 'freephonie.net'

Try re-entering the password and/or username, to ensure proper registration of your trunk.

As you said, In my thrunk, I tried to re entry the password and sumit change but the problem still persist.

Idem for the usename " where I puted my phone number "1819 3509431" .

So the problem still persisting with this message when I try to make call,"Not able to complete the number as dialed, pls try again later...

Because I am not familiar with voip yet, I must ask you...at the server name where it's marked "freephonie.net" is it ok ? because my mobile internet provider is Bell.ca...I don't have freebox or using free services. I use HSPA Bell Canada services.

I am not entirely sure whether your issue arises, from the fact your broadband provider is Bell's HSPA service, or due to erroneous ITSP credentials. Based on your description, it seems the trunk can't register with Free's SIP Proxy.

Looking through the screenshots on their support site in the 3rd illustration (Paramètres de l'activation SIP), the Nom d'utilisateur and the Identifiant start from 09 instead of 18 as in your case. Is 18193509431 the correct number?

Which brings me to my last question. Are you allowed to use the Free SIP service outside France? As far as I can understand, their SIP service is bundled with their broadband service exclusively.
