Incoming calls hang-up when answered on Eyebeam 1.5 softphone

I am using Counterpath Eyebeam 1.5 softphone, it was working fine and I haven't changed the settings, but now when answering an incoming call the call is disconnected immediately, so I have to wait for the call to go to voicemail and then ring them back.

Can you please help with this issue?

P.S. I paid for personal support, and got a response, but I hadn't replied yet and the support was closed and I had no more credit - I don't mind paying for support if I actually get it!!!

Hi,

The support case related to your soft-phone, for which you were charged for, is labeled "X-Lite (softphone) - call quality issues".

The one you are referring to, currently, is labeled "Eyebeam 1.5 Softphone Call Hang-Up Issue" and no funds have been withdrawn in relation to it.

The last issue for which you were charged for and emptied your support credit, was labeled "Call Forking to Mobile Phone".

Regarding your comment about not getting support after you paid for it, let me remind you that you have gotten way more support then what you have paid for. Countless hours on the phone, testing, verifying, explaining the ins and outs of VoIP. I was glad helping you out.

We like what we do, and try to do it well. We are not watching the minutes go by on the clock, trying to decide whether to squeeze one more sentence into the conversation, or whether to do one more change on your PBXes account. We are not trying to cheat you out of any funds or support time, since we have replied to every one of the issues you have brought forward and resolved most of them.

I appreciate the support you have provided in the past, however I did log a case and it wasn't resolved completely as I hadn't replied with a response to your suggestion.

We agree on the fact your "Eyebeam 1.5 Softphone Call Hang-Up Issue" case was not resolved. On the other hand the support team replied to your request with suggestions, the same day it was opened.

Lack of credit is the reason you are prevented from working on this case. Every other case you have opened so far was resolved. If you wish to resume work on this case, please add the minimum required credit into your account.
