problems when my call is answered by IVR

I have a problem with my pbx settings, when I make a call from my pbx and the other person have a IVR, I use his menu and my options are not recognized by the IVR, what can be the problem?

The DTMF digits are not being passed properly to the IVR. What type of SIP User Agents do you have?

The short answer to your problem, is that your SPAs are sending double DTMF digits to the IVR, thus confusing it.

To fix it, restrict the phones to send DTMF only as AVT and restrict each corresponding extension to rfc2833 on your PBXes account.

This issue has been documented, along with a lengthy explanation, on this thread: DTMF settings on extension? So in the future, please make an effort to look whether an issue has been documented.
