calling between pbxes

Hi,
I am trying to set up calling from 1 pbx to another, nothing fancy just dial say ext 100 and the call is forwarded to the other pbx where it will ring an existing ring group.
I set up an inbound route (url_contact) on the destination pbx which points to the ring group.
I set up extension 100 on the source pbx with a dial value (sip/dest_account-dest_route). When I dial ext 100 I see the call go out but immediately dropped. The destination pbx shows the call come in but immediately dropped.
Am I making a simple mistake ?
Regards
Ron

RE: calling between pbxes

Hey Ron,

Step 1: On the receiving PBXes account, setup an Inbound Route in the form of PBXesAccountName-2DigitNumber, and direct it to the appropriate Ring Group.

Step 2: On the sending PBXes account, setup extension 100 so its' dial field contains: PBXesAccountName-2DigitNumber@pbxes.org, where the PBXesAccountName is the one you defined in step 1.

I have also set this up where the 2DigitNumber is a 1DigitNumber, but in any case ensure the Number doesn't conflict with any Ring Group or a Queue number.

Let me know if this works out for you.
